THE THREE P’S THAT ALLOW YOU TO EXPERIENCE ENTREPRENEURIAL MASTERY AND EXTRAORDINARY SUCCESS
The Three P’s That Allow You To Experience Entrepreneurial Mastery And Extraordinary Success
Gaining revolutionary increases in your wealth returns
Entrepreneurial mastery is an exclusive and unique experience that liberates incredible levels of economic and personal freedom from within you.
It’s developed through a combination of research and practice and is experienced by people who are not only passionately interested in success, they’re dedicated to it. They offer more value than most people can readily absorb.
To gain extraordinary levels of explosive, revolutionary success that accelerates you into the ranks of the new financial life-stylists, it’s necessary to look at entrepreneurial success from an expanded perspective.
Three levels of mastery…
Success is an art form and just like any art form it has major aspects which require three levels of mastery.
And in addition to mastery, you need an extra ingredient which you can only get by immersing yourself in fertile environments.
It’s well known that there are plenty of musicians who are brilliant, yet remain “undiscovered”. Or singers who have put in 10,000 hrs of practice and have the right psychology and yet their “lucky break” has not come.
And then there are actors with brilliant minds and brilliant skills who walk the streets of Hollywood knocking on door after door and yet we never hear about them. And artists who paint to perfection but will never be “discovered”.
One of the reasons for this is that entrepreneurial success does not follow the laws “cause and effect”. In other words, just like those mentioned above, you can do all the right things, but you can’t actually make it happen.
However, if you don’t do all the right things, success will never happen.
So what’s this extra ingredient?
Success is actually an “emergent”. No matter how hard you try, something else has to provide the spark… and in this case, I believe the spark is ‘positioning yourself in fertile environments’.
The concept of “emergence” has been around since the time of Aristotle but the term emergent was coined in 1875 by pioneer psychologist G. H. Lewes.
As an emergent, entrepreneurial success unfolds as a result of a series of effective moment-by-moment decisions made from a large number of options available every time you have to make a choice.
To launch the pursuit of entrepreneurial success, you need a strong emotional and psychological platform from which to launch. But it’s the spark of bringing together “operant forces” that most people miss in their attempt to build successful enterprises.
Success emerges from the purposeful application of experienced knowledge gained through mastery application. It emerges as you learn from each new step and each new learning experience.
The better your results, the broader your perspectives become. When this happens, the more value you bring to the experiences of being an entrepreneur and the experiences of pleasing customers.
Having one customer sing your praises to the “right” person could literally triple your profits overnight. But it’s not something you can “cause” to happen. You can plan for it by having the right psychology and strong support, but you can’t actually “cause” it to happen.
Choose a good mentor…
As an emergent, entrepreneurial success is achieved through the continual refinement of new experiences gained over time. But those experiences need to be refined in the presence of external mastery feedback.
That’s why the most successful people in the world seek out the best mentors and coaches they can find.
There’s an accumulating body of research demonstrating attractive Return On Investments on mentoring fees. Currently, research is showing ROI’s of between 500% to 800%. Very few mediums are able to demonstrate similar returns to your bottom line.
Survey, after survey demonstrates that some form of mentoring is the preferred form of leadership that guides successful personal and professional development. ROI’s are always greater than anything that individuals or teams could ever achieve by themselves.
That’s why you’ll never see a world class golfer without a caddy by their side, nor a world class athlete without a coach, or world class boxers without corner people, or world class business people without mentors.
External mastery feedback is one of the sparks of emergence that most would be entrepreneurs fail to engage in.
Games allow you to master strategies, tactics and enterprise…
When you think of mastery… think of ‘games’ and the level of enjoyment you can derive from them. Some people play games just for the enjoyment they gain from them. Others play games for the opportunities to gain mastery over every aspect of the games themselves.
While it may not seem obvious at first, it’s not difficult to view entrepreneurial success in a similar vein. Doing so elevates the idea of success to new levels.
The word game has its birth in the Old English word gamen which means joy, fun and amusement. It also has Gothic roots in the word gaman which means participation and communication.
When you combine these meanings with the Germanic word ga + mann meaning person and a sense of people together, we start to get an idea that the purpose of ‘game’ is a contest played according to a set of rules that involve participation and communication. The outcome provides a positive set of experiences such as fun, excitement and ultimate joy.
In the experiences of entrepreneurial mastery, ultimate joy is expressed as financial success because it lets you know you’ve played the game to extraordinary levels.
While we play games to elicit the fun and enjoyment that’s available from them, we also play them for the strategic opportunities and challenges they provide. Most games involve pitting your wits against those of other people.
They also involve testing your abilities against a set of rules and regulations.
Games are the ultimate expression of how people play the game of life itself. In any culture there’s always an enormous amount of research, time, effort and money directed towards playing games at the highest levels.
Games generally have a clear structure, are played on or in a particular environment and have a clear set of rules and regulations. Follow the structure, play by the rules, develop your skills and you stand a good chance of being successful.
However, if you don’t develop your skills or you set out to break the rules, you face the penalties and consequences of that game. In most cases it means failure.
Share trading is one of the most sophisticated games you can play. It has a clear set of rules and regulations, has an elaborate structure, is played in a certain environment and can be played for as little or as much as you have an appetite for.
Trading cannot take place unless there is some form of communication between other players in the share market. While much has been written about the mechanics of how this process works, in general terms, I want to focus on the three P’s of extraordinary success.
While many people have entered various markets seeking their fortunes and looking to find their way out of the repetitive grind of worker day worlds, it’s important to observe that few people succeed on a sustainable basis.
It’s also important to understand that whenever you enter a particular marketplace, you are ‘fair game’ for those who have studied the game in depth, gained experience and skills and are happy to pit their skills against yours.
It’s these people you must learn to pit your emerging new skills against.
Process Mastery…
The first aspect of entrepreneurial success in any endeavour, involves the technical environment of the entrepreneurial arena. This environment is all about structure and activity, rules and regulations, money, data, due diligence, research, challenges, exercises, record keeping, clarity, computers and books.
Mastery at this level is all about process mastery. It’s about following, and not deviating from, a well rehearsed set of procedures and analytical processes before entering the entrepreneurial environment.
Process mastery means understanding that if any changes are made to a personal set of rules or procedures only one change can be made at any one time. It also means that that one change must be tested over time before an assessment can be made as to the value of its effectiveness.
Process mastery is all about the mastery of skills and procedures in technical terms because skills can only develop over time.
Process mastery involves implementing a course of action through a five stage formulae:
1: acquire new information…
2: application of that information…
3: gain a result from application…
4: apply external mastery feedback…
5: make adjustments where necessary…
Notice the pattern here. The idea is to repeat the process over and over until you develop the necessary skill level you need.
Skill is developed through repeated actions and making slight mastery adjustments to those actions over time. The most efficient way to do this is to work with those who have already achieved mastery in the area you’re seeking mastery in.
They will always see things you cannot see for yourself and give you feedback you cannot give to yourself.
There is nothing to fear in the entrepreneurial environment because it’s just you pitting your skills and wisdom against a set of conditions. It’s also about structuring your learning so that you get the most favourable outcomes over time.
Remember that favourable outcomes cannot be gained prior to learning a set of effective strategies and skills.
If you’ll allow me to help you, I’ll personally mentor you through all the processes you need to master in order to achieve the level of success you desire.
Psychoponic Mastery…
The second aspect of extraordinary entrepreneurial success involves what I’ve termed psychoponic mastery.
Every aspect of entrepreneurial success must take place in mind, and be carried out through mind, before it can be achieved in physical reality.
The thing that’s missing from most entrepreneurial training programmes I’ve looked at over the years, is an environment that includes mastery of the mind.
At best, some tuition provides a tokenistic, jargon filled effort at the psychology of success. At worst, most programmes completely neglect the environment of mind.
Instead, people are sold on the promise that if you just follow the rules, the processes, the formulae or the blueprint, you’ll be well rewarded.
For extraordinary levels of success, this is simply not good enough.
The reason why a supportive environment of mind is so important is that, unwittingly, and without your true consent, you’ve undergone tens of years of enculturation and conditioning. Such processes are used by every society in order to make their citizens good servants of their society.
A good servant is one who is manageable, predictable and governerable. Not one aspect of society’s conditioning processes is directed towards the possibilities of extraordinary success at any level. They’re all directed towards jobs, earning and spending predictability and the lifetime pursuit of time for money wages.
To achieve extraordinary success, you must dissolve the early conditioning you’ve received. To help with this I’ve developed a process I call psychoponic mastery.
Psychoponics is a word I’ve coined to describe an ongoing practice that must be engaged if you’re to achieve extraordinary levels of success.
A seed can grow its potential, or it can wither and die…
Let me explain what I mean and I think you’ll understand the importance of fertilising your mind with powerful mind nutrients.
Think of a seed, an avocado seed for example. If you hold it between your thumb and forefinger, you can marvel at its genetic encoding. Contained within the seed is 100% of its true potential. It contains all the hereditary materials and instructions it needs in order to achieve growth and produce its fruit.
The seed is encoded with instructions to direct its initial energy towards growth.
While it takes several growing seasons to get to the stage where it can produce its fruit, when it gets there, through the miracle of critical mass, it produces its fruit in just one season.
Emergence means pursuing a similar pathway…
Upon its maturity, what was once a seed, or an idea, will produce its fruit through many growing seasons and feed you for as long as you like.
Only one of two things can happen to the seed at the beginning of its journey. It can achieve its potential or its potential can be surrendered. To surrender its potential, all you do is hold it back from the fertile environment it needs.
That’s exactly what society has done to you.
Once you’re held back, the only outcome is to slowly wither your potential. However, if the seed is planted in a fertile environment that supports growth, it has every possibility of successing to its full potential.
As soon as seeds are placed within suitable environments, their encoding is activated and they attract all the nutrients and moisture they require.
When this happens, seeds goes through a germination process which has them sending down roots to absorb rich nutrients.
This is quickly followed by growth shoots that reach beyond the surface of their environment. (Later, I’ll explain why it’s important to reach beyond the upper limits of your conditioning.)
If emerging plants are nurtured and protected from the initial impacts of nature, young plants begin to fend for themselves.
As they cycle through each growing season, young trees increasingly near their full potential. When they achieve maturity, the power of compounding ensures that it only takes one more season to move from non-harvest to harvest.
It’s exactly the same process for entrepreneurial success.
In life there are only two directions. One is contraction over time while the other is expansion over time.
Because of conditioning and enculturation, the sad fact of the matter is that most people never place themselves into fertile environments for long enough.
The mind is a root system that has the same potential and promise of high quality seeds.
In a psychoponically supportive environment, your emerging entrepreneurial mind is provided with a supportive environment where your ideas can germinate and begin their growing cycles.
New ideas must be protected from any number of predators on the hunt for vulnerability. For sustained expansion, your psychological root system needs to be continually bathed in cutting edge mind nutrients.
And as long as these are present and you’re protected and nurtured, you can achieve your full entrepreneurial potential.
Stop playing a game you can never win…
Imagine what happens if half way through your growth phase, you’re suddenly ripped from your supportive environment and placed into the clutches of conventional wisdom. When this happens, you can no longer access the nutrients your mind needs for entrepreneurial growth.
This is exactly what happens to most people. We often hear them saying that they’re living in a rat race, running on a tread mill or going round in a hamster’s wheel they can’t get off.
On the treadmill, life’s a bit like racing greyhounds. No matter how much you feed them, train them, or how much bigger, stronger and faster they become. No matter how much racing technology improves, how many prizes they win or how much money they make for their owners, greyhounds keep on chasing rabbits they can seldom catch.
And when they do catch them, they discover that they’re just rag filled toys.
Greyhounds sacrifice their racing lives to the chase itself not realising that they can never gain the prize they seek.
If you’re on this track, it’s time to get off.
Most people are unaware that enculturation is designed to ensure that you play a game you can never win.
When was the last time your mind was bathed in rich nutrients designed to support the achievement of your full potential?
To achieve your full potential, your mind must be placed in a supportive environment and constantly bathed in positive, nutrient rich thoughts and ideas.
Psychoponic mastery is a detailed look at how the mind works. It’s an in depth study of how the mind is fooled by randomness, tricked by endowment, deceived by false perceptions and conditioned by the rules of enculturation.
Psychoponic mastery provides an in depth analysis of how to gain a perspective that allows for the production of more effective decisions which lead to more effective outcomes.
It’s all about the search for alternatives to the status quo. It involves a continual process of learning, inquiry and knowledge acquisition. It’s about seeking to understand things at a deeper level than conventional wisdom allows.
It’s about promoting growth, openness and possibilities rather than contraction, closure and the defence of entrenched beliefs.
It’s about the suspension of the past, the suspension of judgment and the suspension of lack. It ensures that you can develop the necessary flexibility of mind and behaviour that’s necessary for entrepreneurial success.
It’s about observing through educated eyes rather than conditioned eyes. It’s about the search for things you don’t know… you do not know. When you explore the unknown, you give yourself permission to break free from the habitual patterns of conditioned living.
Psychoponic mastery is about changing patterns of mind. It’s about changing the habitual cycle of limiting beliefs and replacing them with more effective beliefs of achievement.
It’s not so much about thinking smarter, or thinking outside the box, it’s about thinking more slowly so that you can increase the number of effective responses you make at any given choice intersection.
I’ll personally mentor you through all the psychoponic processes you need to master in order to achieve the level of success you desire.
Personal mastery…
The third aspect of extraordinary entrepreneurship involves personal mastery.
Personal mastery is a game of ups and downs, of highs and lows, of wins and losses. In essence, it’s a game of feelings associated with money. Since its invention, money has a property which no other invention has ever duplicated.
Its unique property is its ability to swing emotions from an extreme high to an extreme low and back again. Wars have been fought over it and people have been killed for it.
The human condition is built on emotion: some are pleasurable; some are painful and most fit somewhere in between. No invention other than money has as much power to excite the best and worst aspects of the human condition.
The more you master the emotional aspects of money, the more you can choose appropriate responses rather than remain at the mercy of habitual reactions.
We’re now at a critical junction of human development…
Social scientists observe that nations who have already moved through the waves of change from hunter/gatherer to agriculture production, from farmers and cottage industries to industry and mass production, from factory workers and mechanical processors to knowledge workers and communications experts; are about to experience another wave of change.
It’s a wave of change that rapidly descending upon us as we move from massification to personalisation, from rival to non-rival economics, from consumer to prosumer environments and from tangibles to intangibles outcomes. (For more on these changes, read Revolutionary Wealth by Alvin Toffler)
In order to survive and prosper, you need to keep up with these changes otherwise, like the seed that surrenders its potential, you’ll slowly wither as you continue playing a game that can never be won.
The incredible reducing powers of familiars…
As an aspiring entrepreneur, it’s incredibly important to come to terms with the notion of intangibles because they’re the way of the future for cashed up individuals.
An intangible is described as anything that creates a positive mental, physical, emotional or spiritual experience for the end user. The more intangibly dense something is; the more money people will pay for the experience and the more money there is to be made from it.
To thrive, prosper and grow in this new wave of change… to succeed in what psychologist Morrie Shechtman terms a rapidly changing, fast-paced global communication-intensive society; you need to ride ‘the Fifth Wave’ and make real changes in the way your mind perceives money and value.
“We are now in a Fifth Wave”, says Shechtman, “Where our futures are no longer predicated on what happens out there, they are predicated on what happens in ourselves. To be meaningful, breakthroughs for both individuals and organizations have to be internal.”
Personal mastery is all about internal work you need to do in order to experience fulfilled success in the Fifth Wave of change. It’s about changing ideas, beliefs, emotions, conditioning, behaviours and thought forms.
It’s about changing what Shechtman refers to as the most powerful force in your individual makeup; your ‘familiars’.
“A familiar is a feeling state to which you return again and again. It is an emotional pattern that holds tremendous power over our choices, our relationships and our careers. Rooted in our families and our upbringing, the familiar is a feeling that we unconsciously reproduce, sometimes to our benefit, but often to our detriment. This feeling may keep us from doing things that are productive or smart. It may even cause us to do things that are self-destructive.”
Personal mastery is about understanding why your familiars keep you repeating the same mistakes over and over again. They explain why you keep returning to the same emotional states that reduce your ability to progress.
When you understand why your familiars hold great power over you and why you keep chasing rabbits you’ll never catch, perhaps this understanding will allow you to change the game you’re playing. I hope so.
Familiars are subconscious patterns held within the deep recesses of your pre-cognitive mind. Unless you change them, these patterns keep playing out over and over again which is why you get the same results over and over again.
They’re an amazingly strong and persistent collection of attitudes that developed throughout your childhood. As such they hold tremendous power over you. They’re what cause you to behave in predictable ways.
At a deep level, you know you’re capable of achieving so much more but somehow, somewhere something happened to knock your confidence out of the ball park. When this happens, you often lose sight of your innate capacity to achieve.
Such is the power of enculturation’s conditioning. It works on refining your familiars over and over so that they become your life’s emotional and psychological straitjackets.
Your familiars are preventing you from experiencing optimal performance and the life of your dreams. Your familiars exert tremendous power over your choices, relationships and economic results.
Personal mastery allows you to drill down, examine and then destroy the long-buried familiars that keep you from achieving your full potential.
Personal mastery allows you to dissolve the power of old familiars so that you can move towards a more expansive environment of economic and personal freedom.
Familiars keep you incarcerated in your comfort zone…
Familiars always cause unconscious contraction rather than conscious expansion. Over time, unconscious contraction begins to feel ‘comfortable’ and normal for you.
Awareness and transparency are always the first steps in bringing about change.
With this in mind, have you ever seriously thought about the term ‘comfort zone’, where it comes from and what it actually means?
I think you’ll be surprised about how destructive it is to entrepreneurial success.
The word comfort is derived from Old French and Latin words such as conforter meaning ‘to help, to strengthen’ and confortare meaning ‘to strengthen much’, com = intens + fortis = strong.
The word zone comes from the thirteenth century Latin word zona meaning ‘a geographical belt’ and two thirteenth century Greek words zone meaning ‘a belt’ and zonnyani meaning ‘to grind, to gird, girdle’.
From here we might describe your ‘comfort zone’ as your ability to strengthen your girdle around a particular behaviour, belief, thought or issue. Or your ability to continue living a life of contraction as opposed to expansion.
Comfort zones create upper limits…
It’s important to understand the notion of girdle or belt because both have upper and lower edges which define their limits. Enculturation teaches you how to live within the upper and lower limits as determined appropriate by that culture.
That’s why, until you dissolve them, your upper limits keep your results from expanding.
Unbeknown to most people, you have been conditioned to “decompensate” every time you have too much of a good thing.
What I mean by this is that enculturation conditions you to have “upper limits” in finance, in health, in lifestyle, in business, in relationships, in happiness and just about every other form of life activity.
It’s the main reason why so many people struggle under the weight of not enough time, not enough money and not enough freedom.
Through a process termed “decompensate”, it’s important to realise that once you move 10% above your subconscious upper limit, something happens which causes you to move back to where you feel most comfortable… which is slightly below the upper limit of your “comfort zone”.
Gay Hendricks describes the upper limit in this way. “We have an inner thermostat that determines the amount of love and success we allow ourselves. When we exceed our setting, we tend to sabotage ourselves so that we can return to the old, familiar zone where we feel secure. The thermostat was set before you could think for yourself, usually in early childhood.”
When you translate this to finances, you’ve been conditioned to live within your financial limits… which is more accurately described as your financial girdle or ‘comfort zone’.
While you may want more, the strength of your ‘comfort zone’ prevents you from straying too far outside the limits of your financial girdle.
If fortuitously, you move 10% above your upper limit, you’ll do something to decompensate for this movement.
You’ll go on a shopping spree, take a holiday, make a bad investment, have a party, or buy something that depreciates in value. In other words, you’ll find a way to get rid of your windfall.
In an entrepreneurial environment, or in a trading environment, if you have fortuitous wins, you’ll make all sorts of crazy mistakes that cause you to lose money and the gains you’ve just experienced. Of all the lottery or pools winners around the world, only around 1% have anywhere near the value of their winnings left.
If change has you falling 10% below your lower limit, you’ll undertake all sorts of activities such as working extra hours, getting a second job, retraining, or gaining more qualifications etc., in a bid to scramble back into the zone of your familiar earnings.
In a trading environment people tend to chase losses. However, because they’re unaware of their conditioning and what’s going on, they’ll continue to throw good money after bad while listening to internal voices that can never save them.
The most critical awareness you can develop is an understanding that, unless you dissolve your upper limits, enculturation develops a girdle for every aspect of your life.
Enculturation conditions you to have upper limits in love, happiness, adventure, romance, connectedness, money, vitality, fun, freedom and the list goes on. If you find yourself outside your upper or lower limits, subconsciously you’ll decompensate or scramble in order to get back into the comfort of your particular zone.
Destroying your subconscious ‘upper limits’ around not enough time, not enough money and not enough freedom; enable you to have more time, more money and more freedom. It’s why I became a mentor to those who are truly seeking to change.
Which one of two decisions will you make…
Once awareness reveals itself through a flash of inspiration, all you need is the courage to follow through on positive decisions for change.
If you’re not getting the entrepreneurial or financial success you want, there are only two decisions you can make right now.
You can make a conscious decision to expand. If you don’t, you’re actually making an unconscious decision to continue with contraction.
Begin by reviewing whether or not you’ve previously made unconscious decisions to contract to a level of comfort over time. Contraction has you living between the upper and lower limits of your comfort zone.
Personal mastery is about identifying the limits that hold you back and then dissolving them.
Once you do this, you open yourself to the potential for making dramatic shifts. You gain access to more compassion, more connectedness, more wellness, more vitality, more financial prosperity and more positive environments.
You’ll move out of the ‘ordinary’ and into the ‘extraordinary’ experiences of life.
By combining “psychoponic mastery” with “process mastery” and “personal mastery” you ignite the three P’s of entrepreneurial mastery and enjoy extraordinary levels of success.
By tapping into the achievement environment that awaits you, you’ll feel supported to achieve revolutionary increases in more time… more money… and more freedom…
Expansion and contraction are both available to you. In the long-term though, you can’t have them both. If you don’t consciously choose one, you’ll subconsciously choose the other.
I’ll mentor you through all the processes of personal mastery so that you achieve the level of success you desire.
